I have a personal development plan that is organic (has to be with our current predicament), and it includes self-monitoring objectives and self-monitoring actions, GROW and SMART models, video and audio self analysis, peer and player feedback, and self-reflection all borne out of a solid understanding of Basic Needs Theory. In order to lead and manage others, I need to know how to lead and manage myself, and constantly reviewing, reflecting, listening, observing, talking, and sharing has increased my ability to be self-aware.
