The Future Coach Virtual Seminar is an interactive, fast paced, hands on motivational coach education experience. Performance Psychologist, UEFA A Licence Coach & Author Drawing on his pitchside and changing room experiences from behind the scenes in the Premier League and English Championship divisions Tom Bates invites coaches to journey with him and turn optimism, energy and inspiration into positive performance outcomes and results!
Building a Culture that breeds Confidence for your players is a vital component in youth development settings and starts with the coach as the architect leader. Tom will explore how we create a Coaching Culture through consideration of the values, beliefs and behaviours we live out. Through the use of case studies attendees will gain several applied strategies to pick up and use when creating a Culture that breeds confidence.Â
Lee Carsley
The Future Coach Speaker - Coach
Lee Carsley is a former professional footballer who is currently Lead Professional Development Phase Coach for the England team. In a playing career lasting 17 years, he played for Everton, Blackburn, Derby and Birmingham as well as representing the Republic of Ireland at international level. Lee is a UEFA PRO coach.Â
England U21 Head Coach Lee Carsley will help coaches understand the concept of ‘form’ as a coach, focusing his presentation on how you get the best from yourself as a coach and what you can do to improve your own form over the course of the season. Presenting key ideas and strategies on how to monitor and manage your form as a coach is a vital step in any coach development journey.Â
Mike Scott
The Future Coach Speaker - Coach
Mike Scott is currently the Head of Coach Development and Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C and has spent the last 20 years successfully developing the nations youngest talent at West Brom, Derby County & Aston Villa. Mike is a UEFA A Licence Coach. Â
Mikes vast experience in youth Academy football over the last 20 years has seen him work with the Nation’s very best young talents. Mike will offer insight into the roller coaster journey of an Academy player and hone in on critical coach support strategies he used himself with players successfully making the transition from Academy to senior 1st team level.Â
Conor Hourihane
Q & A
Senior International & Premier League Footballer (Republic Ireland, Aston Villa, Sheffield United, Sunderland, Ipswich, Plymouth Argyle, Barnsley.Â
From a players perspective, Conor will share his beliefs on what makes a great coach and why, revealing key coach behaviours that helped him rise through every league division in England and make it the highest level – The English Premier League.
